#10: Dear Future Blogger

As an avid blog follower I was very excited when I heard about this project. I think it's a great way to get students involved in what's going on in the world. Also, getting them inspired to write about things they're interested in. There are some struggles when beginning your blog, like the self generated topics can be difficult. You'll be doing research just trying to find a topic alone. Rather than, being given one immediately and jumping right in. I really loved getting to try both given and self generated topics because it gave my blog a good variety it may have not had. I'm sure all I would've talked about was clothes and traveling if I had the opportunity! Blogging has taught me how personal I can be in my writing. If I want to be biased, that's totally cool as long as I can back myself up! Before I always felt a need to be neutral as a writer and I finally broke those boundaries.
