#2 NY Fashion Week Is Almost Over!
As New York's Fashion Week is coming to a close, fashion lovers everywhere are looking forward to what's next. Starting soon, London begins their own. The city will be hosting brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Topshop, and Burberry.
Spring/Summer 2018 (SS18) fashion is rolling out, and some of our favorite models are rocking some mouthwatering looks. Gigi Hadid walked along side sister, Bella Hadid in Anna Sui's show on September 11th. They were wearing some serious seventies style; they had fringe, layers, mix-and-match, even the kids had some groovy face painting.
Now, I'm watching these models go up and down the runways at home. Not getting to experience all the dazzle of Fashion Week, makes me a bit envious. An easy way to get an up close and personal look, is to follow the people attending! Natalie Suarez is a well-known fashion blogger/off-duty model who travels the world, getting to represent a million different brands. She attended shows like Coach, Zimmermann, and Laurence and Chico.
Getting through the jealousy is tough, but nevertheless, SS18 style is mesmerizing! There are so many pastel and floral looks; they're absolutely eye catching. One of the most enticing lines I saw was Juicy Couture. Juicy surprised me with their modernization of classic looks; way more to show than a velour tracksuit. They threw in bright yellow, pinks, even some rainbow-stripes on a maxi dress.
Something that says so much more than the clothes, was the diversity shown. Every size and shape was welcomed to this year's runways. Designers like Christian Siriano had the glorious Candice Huffine walking in his show. They are pushing out the old opinions of how a model "should look" and bringing light to the beauty held in curves.

Get ready for SS18 to be full of floral, pastels, skirts, and denim everything. The Telegraph has an excellent post that breaks down the ten most popular styles. One thing they discuss are the decades. If you're a nineties or seventies kid, know the trends are coming back. Hopefully you have a storage bin full of classic looks you can show off!
Don't worry, New York Fashion Week may be wrapping up, but stay tuned. London begins on September 15th. Then Milan and Paris are following. Get your eyes and bank accounts prepared for the looks of SS18.
Good job on this post - especially with the visual support your provided to round out the post.
